Does it make sense to use wholesale reseller when not being a reseller?

I'm managing hundred of domains, using a strategy that I described here: https://www.dnforum.com/threads/dom...ts-your-registrars-portfolio-strategy.639063/
I read on reddit someone advising to use wholesale reseller platform to ease the management of mass number of domains.

First question, is it possible and does it make sense to use a wholesale reseller platform (OpenSRS, INWX, what are others? tell me) while being the end owner (registrant).

I think it definitely can ease the management, with more feature oriented on mass bulk actions. But how does it behave for my other problems?

Is it advantageous for costs? OpenSRS seems not
Did they solve the problem of TLDs coverage? (I think OpenSRS = No, INWX = Yes?)
Because if it's only to add yet another registrar to the list... :/

Anyone with experience in doing this and can share?
Also if you consider it good option, from what number of domains should we consider using that?

Good question. A reseller-style platform can make sense even if you are only managing your own portfolio. The value is not only price. It is bulk renewals, exports, DNS changes, auth codes, status checks and API access.

For hundreds of domains, fewer reliable control panels may be better than chasing every wholesale option.
