So I get a call about 3 consecutive charges on my CC ???
1500.00 each to some travel company

I say they are not mine ?!!## Which card I ask.

They give me the number of my business CC that I only use in 3 places(EVER)never carry it ever since I have owned it and use it only for buying domains on POOL, SNAP and NameJet.

I guess some of the admin must have needed a vacation!!!!!

My fraud company is reasearching it right now and it will be traced to one of those companies

Not necessarily the staff of the mentioned site.
Most fraud happens when the #s are in trasmission processs (digitally / printed) from one point to other.

So, it might be carelessness / lapse from one of the parties & Pray not the staff...

My credit card #s too are with them :(

sometimes some employees of cc companies & courier guys are themselves involved in scam esp. here in India .
Someone with a well known bank issued a Platimnum CC just by taking details from Shoppers Stop (ie. without consent or any documentaion) - only came to know about it when recieved a centralised sms from BlueDart that "No one was at home to recieve the parcel" when everyone was.Turned out package was a Platinum CC on name etc. without having asked for it. One can never be too careful.

Concerning what happened in you case , did you have a max. limit put on it ?

So far the fraud company said that its definately from one of the 3 people I mentioned because of the info I gave them and certain other things I cannot mention. But in any event my fraud protection worked and not one single charge went through, not even the first one.

There always are people trying to scam others no matter where you are
