Anyone knows whether there is any country (besides US) has started offering ccTLD for .info and .biz?
example: abc.info.xx, xyz.biz.yy

IMO, these should be banned by the registry. Tries to spoof the original gTLDs and causes confusion for nothing except to satisfy the selfish greed of some individual.

What like the scam people were running in the 90's registering aunz.com as well as au.com and telling the aussies it's their country extension :D
Well it did work for a while, even Ozemail got into the act, I think they were pushing aust.com for a while there, good way to make a buck, reg the .com and then resell subdomains.

there are just too many ccTLDs in this world, aren't there?

I think somehow everyone got the wrong message here. :)

I just would like to find out whether there is any other country have added .info and .biz to their ccTLD domains.
e.g. abc.info.jp, xyz.biz.uk, 123.com.in

It is just like .com and .com.xx, .net and .net.yy...
This will not add any new country code.

The best way to promote a TLD is to develop them. When the net is for the most part undeveloped or ppc the last thing it needs is more extensions.
