Hello everybody,

Could someone comment on issue of changing expire date ?
I observed one domain that I was willing to register once it's dropped but the domain is changing it's end date. That's a little strange for me. The domain status in panding delete.

Greetings

Registrars are required to pay for the domain for one year on expiration date. So in turn they date is changed to +1. The domain goes through the process and they are refunded if they drop. I assume this is your question.

Another opinion could be that the registrar renewed the domain so they can
keep it for themselves or to auction it off at a later date.
