What's the cheapest to reg .fr domains?

I'll need to reg a few, but Eurodns charge €28/year!

cheapest as for many countries is 1and1 in this case .fr (1and1.fr)
5.99 euros per domain unbeatable...
You will need a french company to register them.

Not nescesseraly ! 1&1 can register it on your behalf and pass it on to you when the registration go public...

Can you let me how to use this function with 1and1 ? I did not really find that option.

Thx
Stefan

I have used 1and1.fr for sometime, yes they are cheap, and as i live in France i can register them as an individual.

BUT, i am in the process of finding another registrar as the underhanded practices of 1and1.fr are a nightmare!!

when your domain becomes due for renewal they automatically ad norton anti-virus at 17euros, in the past i had to contact them on each occasion and tell them i didn't want it and just renew the domain.

but now, they require me to write to them by snail mail explaining i don't want this service (that i never ordered anyway) and include a cheque for the domain.

so I'm looking for a reasonably priced registrar so i can transfer them all out!

if anyone can recommend one i would appreciate it, also if anyone is familiar with the process for reporting a registrar to ICANN for these practices i would appreciate any info.

As for anyone thinking of using 1and1.fr even if you Speak French fluently AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
