do a whois on most of the spammers who use .ru as their cctld. I'm sure they've found the cheapest available.
Question: Any value in .ru ? I personally ban that extension in any and all contact when possible.

You should know that spammers take low price by volume of registrations, not by soft of activity.

Unfortunately I'm stuck with cheap mfa .ru sites overloading my directories and topsites, and even forums.
I'm sorry but I've yet to have any positive experience with anything connected to .ru
