We are having the jobs.ca website being built by a software comapany, as we are launching the site in the next month or so and need to decide on a slogan/tagline. Please pick the top two you like of the 1 -10 choices. Your input is appreciated!

1. Simply jobs
2. A jobsite that works
3. Where Canada works
4. Where your search ends and your future begins.
5. Jobs where you live
6. National reach. Local results
7. Search, apply, you're hired!
8. Find your future.
9. We have your job
10. Jobs for all.

I don't personally like any of them but if I had to choose I would go with 4 and 6.

I like "Jobs. Where you live." and "National Reach. Local Results."

I like #3 & #8 but I'm sure you can come up with something better. None of them really stand out as being memorable, but that could also be because it hasn't been branded and marketed just yet.

I'm just thinking that here we have victoriajobsite.com and their line is "long name, amazing results". It has that memorability factor because it is so simple and true.

"Jobs, eh!" over a Canadian flag.

And of course a picture of an igloo and a beer  We don't all say "eh". Alot of us say "eh buy"

#10 is nice because it's short and to the point.
#4 can be used in a title somewhere

I like #4 But I would shorten to "Search ends... Future begins!"

#3 is ok, but maybe "Where Canada finds Jobs"

Or...

12: Jobs for Canadians, by Canadians.

13: Canada's Job Resource.

14: Hired! Jobs.ca (or in reverse)

Hi Shaun,

My fave of the bunch is #3 "Where Canada Works"...but honestly, I think the domain JOBS.ca is so powerful that I'd hesitate to put any focus at all on a tag line at launch. Jobs.ca says it all -> jobs in Canada.

I visited a few of the other Canadian "jobs" sites and I like Workopolis.com's tagline the best "Canada's Biggest Job Site". As an option, you may want to consider using "Canada's Job Site".

Rather than use a fluffy tag line, I'd either use the powerful domain alone or pick a bold statement to help brand (ie. Canada's job site)

Cheers, and good luck with your launch!

Jim
