City Attorney Elizabeth Hernández will ask commissioners Tuesday -- if the commission meeting is not postponed due to Hurricane Ike -- for authorization to file a lawsuit against Burr and his company, Quantum Leap Network, for failure to comply with terms of an agreement to transfer the domain name, www.venetianpool.com, to the city.

Looks like a typical contract dispute...if there was one to begin with.

Agreed... doesn't look like a real "domain" story per se:

"Hernández told The Miami Herald on Friday that the agreement allowed Burr the use of the city's seal and name only until a certain period and that he then had to transfer the domain to the city."

Right... he is going to spend thousands of hours and moneys on a name and site he has legitimate interest just to give it away to the city for free... just for use of their seal... right.
