Nice pick up on the dropped ball.....

dot info works better but the dot biz could still catch on. Wouldn't expect a repeat sale anytime soon but could fetch a bit to an end user. My guestimate: $295-$695 down the road........

My Guestimate < reg free to reseller

end user you really dont know

personally i dont like .biz

m not going to say that NO ONE else will want them, because that simply isn't true.

Personally, I will never register my own .biz anymore (I think I had one or 2). It's slang, it's not a known TLD. Okay for a small biz, but not for me :)

Good Luck!

I respectfully disagree with the last two appraisals. Why?

If you look at extension availability - the .biz is the only one left.

If you look at development - all of the other extensions for this name are developed.

So if an end user wants this particular domain (cityofberkeley) to develop, the only option is to go with the .biz. That is my reasoning based on availability and development. There are no TM problems here either.

I guess we have different methods of valuation and that's okay.

I am from berkeley and um I am not sure who would buy the name - .biz is not known around here too well. Maybe in the future.
