No contest, but need some serious help as i do not have the time but will make the time, if need be, to redo my site.

Specialty medical professional site, more than 300,000 viewers already this year, up from about 100K last year. Steadily and rapidly growing as the name gets out. It has gotten around simply by word of mouth.

Site needs slick, clean, easy navigatable look and feel. But it won't be easy. Tops users of this site are Respiratory Therapist, Radiology, and Nurses...in that order. Will need to make the site very specific to each profession so each specialty needs to be well represented as well as each professtion. For example: Cardiac, Pulmonary, Respiratory, Oncology, EMT, Radiology, NeoNatal.

You don't need to be an expert in Medical Terminology or lingo. That's where I come in. You don't need to do research or searching...I've already done that. You don't need to do any advertising...I've already done that and getting ready to go (read on). You do not need to sign up for any affiliate programs...already did but not active on the site.

Most banners and ads appearing are my own design or my own ventures or my own redirects. 15 plus years experience as a graphic designer and illustrator. First attempt at a web site. Has become very successful and heavily used site. Now in medical profession but still dabble in websites and design and domain names.

Amazingly, I have not made a penny. Cheap medical people want their CEU's for free...TOTALLY FREE...and have not donated a damn penny.

Will be adding a job posting section. This will be a FEE BASED section to the advertiser. Will also be courting big name sponsors.

I have put a boatload of money and time into advertising, getting ready for a national advertising campaign, direct mail and emailing to more than 9000 hospitals in the U.S. to provide direct links to their facility and their human resource dept for job postings. This will be a the fee based section.

In addition to 9000 hospitals, to those 9000 hospitals I will be direct mailing a postcard to each Director of Nursing, Director of Respiratory Therapy, and Directors of Rehab and Radiology. So you are looking at a ton of money in postage and postcards (already printed up). It will be my one chance to make this go...and it will. Have had interest in the site also from Canada and India as they recognize AMA (american medical association) credits.

Have had many companies personally express interest in being a sponsor but that is all it has been...talk is cheap. Now the site is taking off and those that continue to talk will be left behind.

Domain name and web hosting secured through 2011. Not going anywhere.

What will I pay? Who the heck knows. How much will this site make? Who the heck knows. Unlimited potential here but you have heard that before.

But lets get a few things out of the way...I am not made of money, I am not a doctor, so don't think I have deep pockets. We may be able to set up a fee based on commission.

I do not want a flash intro, I will be glad to look at samples, you must prove the work is yours, and I will not listen to too much BS. I am familiar with Limbo and Mambo and Contribute 3 but have never actually used any of them. I need something that is easily updated so I can add content without taking the site down. I need to be able to do this by simply signing on anywhere in the world on any computer. I need to be able to sign up new advertisers or human resource departments as they submit their payment and sign on.

Site is currently done on MS publisher. Sucks. Everytime I make a change it takes down the entire site and knocks my search rankings way down. Don't need that. Want to update on the fly and never have the rankings dip.

I need ideas. I am ready to make some serious money on this project. If I don't like what I am hearing or don't like all the BS, I'll end up doing it myself. I need advice, some tips, some ideas. Offering to let someone in on this project.

Could be a commission based project or something to that effect. Why? Here's the beauty...each year those same people will be back...year after year after year...as their annual requirements for maintaining licensure usually is good for one calendar year. So this could provide a nice little income on an annual basis just for doing the site once.

NOT INTERESTED IN A PARTNERSHIP. HAVE ALREADY REJECTED A FEW OFFERS TO BUY THE SITE.

Developer will have complete access to all stats but I must and insist on maintaining control over all aspects of usability and design. Site must be secure and hack proof.

One last thing...I don't have time to fool around with the curious and the onlookers. I work hard, I play hard. No time for the BS.

Sorry to sound harsh and brazen, but this is not a video game or a "pimp my site" project. This is serious business and will take a serious effort and a serious person to work with me on this.

pm me at [email protected].

It certainly is a mess as you stated. Hard to understand how it could get such heavy traffic with 300k visits this yr with an odd non-typein name and the site being so poor overall with the poor layout and formatting, some images not working and the strange stuff it does with the auto re-loading on top of the first content displayed after 2/3 seconds, etc. It needs major work so probably best scrapping it all and starting all over from scratch.

Scriptlance.com would get plenty of offers to do it for you if you get few replies here. They have mostly much lower paid programmers but many do not speak or understand English very well.

Thanks for the response and thanks for the criticism, I think.

Truly a specialty site, unreal traffic in such a short period of time. Had this site up in running in 3 days with MS publisher. So restrictive.

Started out as word of mouth, then picked up on a few medical specialty sites with links.

You'd be amazed at the hits. Go to Yahoo and MSN and type in FREE RESPIRATORY CEU'S, FREE NURSING CEU'S, FREE ONLINE CEU'S, FREE RADIOLOGY CEU'S and see where they ranked. Have not checked lately, but used to rank pretty high.

Consider all the medical specialties in this country, the sheer number of nurses, therapists, and hospitals in this nation, yearly requirements for continuing education and it would be no wonder at all that the numbers are this high. I expect the numbers to keep growing.

A project I highly believe in and have put a bunch of money into in preparation of making it a monster sized site to include annual paid subscription to job postings from across the nation.

What's the point of all this? Know your market, find a niche, explore it and exploit it. Proof positive that you don't need a million dollar domain name to create a million dollar site. www.ceuq.com is also short for CEUQuick, which www.ceuquick.com is a redirect.

Thousands of companies out there willing to throw CEU's at medical personnel, some for hefty fees. If some professions require 20 ceu's per year and companies are charging per the ceu, this can add up to several hundreds of dollars on an annual basis just to maintain licensure.

Every one is into free. Just didn't realize how cheap medical professionals are. I have saved them perhaps millions of dollars yet not a single penny in donations. Cheap, cheap, cheap.
