not as good as the ones you listed here to compare them with, and those are of course motivated end user prices, so that info is really not that meaningful, but I think you know that, here its more about reseller pricing, and the letters are nice but not great, reseller I would say around 8-9K

Thats reseller pricing...and I believe you just appraised TMU.com for 7k a couple of days ago..and TMU is way better than CLF IMO, so either prices have increased dramatically in 3 days or you were trying to appraise the other domain low in order to maybe buy it cheaply (like those no good bottomfeeders that constantly email me about my 3 letter .coms trying to take advantage of people not knowing what they have offering 3K for all premium letters)

yes, and I think TMU is better or equal to CLF, .... the letter C is not strong and your combo does not have a vowel...
..but I know that when it comes to one's own domains its always different...

3character.com/priceguide.html :
The quality of the letter composition can play a significant role in determining 3-letter valuations. General concensus states that the letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, P, R, S, T are considered premium letters. Other lesser high quality letters include: J, K, U, V, W. Lower quality letters include: Q, X, Y, Z.

hey, all I am saying it that a domain that start with a T (=The) has a big advantage over a domain that starts with a C.. and I dont care what a simplyfied version of a letter-guide thinks is premium, you have to look at the whole combo, there is no simple way of saying..oh it has 2 good letters and one ok letter according to my little cheat-sheet...a U, if its at the end is a great letter.., fact is..if most people had the choice of taking TMU or CLF, I think they would take TMU..I dont wanna fight here, that just IMO

Dude, stop pumping your names here so you can list them in the offers wanted section next week and refer to your appraisal post. You asked for appraisals and that's what you are getting. I agree with domainah about the other name being more valuable.
You know what your LLL.com names are worth already. If you don't, then you shouldn't argue with other people's appraisals.
To keep in line with forum regulations, I say this one is worth $8-12k to a reseller. It's worth more than say xqy.com but it's nothing special.

Tell me please, where in the forum rules it says he can't do that? What a winer!
Why do you care?

I agree with Focus's appraisal. Lots of potential with these letters.

My time is valuable, and I believe I am doing a service to fellow domain investors, especially people that are new to the business, when I offer feedback and an appraisal. It's annoying when I give a genuine appraisal and then hear from a defensive owner about why he thinks I am wrong. It's alright if someone else contradicts me - that's the beauty of this business. But if a person is asking for an opinion, I don't believe he has the right to argue with someone who is kind enough to give feedback.
