I was wondering if someone also observed this: At other parking companies I often have domains that get only one visitor a day, but they might click on two ads.which means a CTR of 200% for that day in the daily view.if you have a large number of domains that happens frequently..so in the daily view at sedo I cant even recall any domain getting a visitor and two or more clicks..I have maybe 40 domains a day that have the 1 visitor and one 1 click a day, but none gets two clicks..does Sedo only count one click maximum per visit and just keeps the revenue of that second, third..etc click??

Good point. Never thought of that.

yeah would be great if everybody could check that out..and I dont wanna hear stuff from sedo like "we pay a combined cpc for all clicks"..because at 2 cent clicks thats def. not true

the highest CTR that i got in sedo is 100% whereas in other parking services the highest has been around 300% CTR

So basically Sedo has been ripping us off all along?

thats exactly what I am talking about..every 1+ click per visitor just seems to disappear

That's thousands of clicks in the course of a year!!

i would guess its thousands a month just for me...is that legal?

As entertaining a scenario as this sounds, I really doubt Sedo would do something as blantant as pocket clicks for themselves. Say what you want about their other flaws, which seem to be mounting daily, but this just sounds too obvious.

If this was true, I would gladly spend 1k in advertising this fact to people to help put them out of business. That is how bad this would be.

I can't see it being so.

Hm, I think that this is even written somewhere on Sedo's site. I could be wrong but as long as I remember, I have read there that only the first click is counted.

I know..i have a hard time believing it too..the question is though..do YOU
have a domain that on any day ever got one hit and two clicks?

Unfortunately I've been right.
Here it is:

"Please note double views and manipulated clicks can be detected by our system and are filtered out. Multiple clicks and views from the same user (IP address) are also not counted. If views or clicks are manipulated, we are obliged to remove your domains from the parking program and withhold revenue."

I'm currently talking to a SEO specialist who will offer valuable advice about the intricacies of Google feeds. If I learn that Sedo is actually paid for every click by Google while they pay me only for the first one, it will be the largest auditing since Enron went down.

It's your turn now.
Although if you have $1k expendable it'll be better to share them with us. ;)
I don't think that such kind of advertising will bring any result. :(

that sounds more like they are talking about people clicking on their own domains and stuff since its saying manipulated..because according to that every visitor that clicks on two ads is manipulating? that cant be true at all...on trafficz I am being paid for multiple clicks..same on adsense..not at sedo though..

Unfortunately I've been right.

I'd like to hear some proof first, you know, actually facts, that they are pocketing it.

Dude, I use Sedo too, so they are screwing me along with the others.

And I thnk if this is true, I hope its not, but if it is, the advetising it would get, the attention, would bring a very big result.

This can't be true...

Try to contact Sara, Mara or the other Sedo androids on the forums.

Nope!
There is no way to differentiate between legal and illegal clicks. I could say a hundred of people to click ten times per day. This is still a manipulation although not done directly by me.
And the fact that noone remembers more than 100% CTR is also good speaking.

hey I am the last one to say anybody is doing anything illegal..which is why I wanted to know from everyone first if anyone has two clicks one a single visitor...so show me a domain that does..

What kind of proof?
I don't know if they get paid for the second click so I do not blame them (until it is clear) but it is explicitly written that they don't pay us for a second click.
