Cloud Domains

few of my cloud names.

Vermontcloud , NewHampshireCloud, WestVirginiaCloud

All .com(s) :)

I decided to bypass iffy two-worders in favor of some sensible longer ones

That's a good idea as long as there are some results on google for your keyword combination (with quotes) . Not too many people want to use a three or four word domain as a brand so there has to be some practical uses for it in the cloud Industry. IMO

I just registered:

CloudComputingStack(.)com

and

CloudStorageStack(.)com

-

After successfully selling - CloudTribe.com and CloudPatrol.com , just caught another nice cloud domain -

CloudRanger.com

Cheers.

Sorry dotFame, these names arent worth anything, words/phrases like PLAYPAL, HOMESALE, FORSALE, RENTERS, PRESERVER, PAL and FLY just dont work with cloud computing. You are better off buying 3 or 4 names on the aftermarket that are directly related to cloud computing and then hold onto those rather than adding random words that dont really fit

Good luck

Not sure if i posted here, but i managed to get cloudcheap a few years ago :)

cloudcheap is nice one. can you mention the price you've paid?

Thought i would add to a few of my cloud names with CloudPty.com

I have around 60+ cloud names that I've acquired over the years, the two I'm constantly getting offers on though are >

* i-cloud.com
* ukcloud.com

Regards,
Barry

i-cloud is a really nice name.

Thank you KBK, looking at my Analytics it constantly does over 4,000 uniques each month which isn't bad for just a holding page, ranking first page of google and bing for all sorts e.g. " i cloud.com".

But, you posted these:
CloudStory.com
USD $1995

CloudSpan.com

Ouch gilescoley,

But thanks for your reply anyway.

My thinking is that given the way any new technology develops as a market, I am thinking that there will be a strong surge in both social and media deliverables cloud computing.

Now, I realized that I have some dogs in the pound with my list, but I happen to LOVE "Pal Cloud." - reason both for its social meaning, and because so many accronyms that apply to PAL. "Play A Little" is hot for the gaming community, "Private Access Link" and "Partner Access Link" are outright cloud computing phrases. If am right about industry players desiring to deliver there publishing with a HIGHER form of distribution, I may be on to something. My thinking is that the news media will like "Cloud e Weather, and Cloud e News, Cloud e Tunes, Cloud e Videos, and of course Cloud e Sex; Cloud e Porn; and Cloud e Tube."

In short, I believe that any name that offers someone promote their products with both an uplifting phrase like cloud and a straight tie to their industry, will be a winner on some level. I could not walk away from "ForSalebyOwnerCloud", when I saw how much "ForSaleByOwner" sold for. Also, name with a high recall value due to their play on the dichotomy of product service may be a relative hit-- like Cloud E Weather, etc.

Do you still thinking I am drinking my own Coolaid?

Many thanks,
Tim

You cant be serious, at least these are words that fit even if its just a tiny bit. I a bit like Stuart's CloudRanger or CloudTribe, not the top words but still good enough to sell them

Some of your words make no sense whatsoever

If you are going with your 'PAL CLOUD" theory, rather just register the PALCLOUD.com and dump the rest, including the PALS names, companies wont want all the other extensions and extra letters added

I still the the coolaid is too strong imo

I can assure you that the 90%+ of those names will end up dropping eventually, I hope you prove me wrong though

Sorry Tim, but there is no value in your portfolio.
There is no scarcity for ( [random acronym] or [random keyword] ) + [hyped keyword] domains.
Everybody can register a bunch of available domains. The end users can do that too, and they will. They will not buy on the aftermarket is they can find domain of similar quality available for free.
What is the likelihood that somebody in this world will have exactly the same idea, and be willing to purchase a domain from you ?

Do you still thinking I am drinking my own Coolaid?
I think you're getting carried away. Registering domains is fun, but the renewals suck.
Just think how much you spent on these domain names, and how much you will be spending next year after zero sales to make up.
