Please, please, please....

STOP regging cloud names because they are available.

STOP posting every single cloud domain regged.

Doc I didn’t realize that this thread was meant to be about Cloud domain sales. (as the original poster had indicated), I guess we need a new thread for Cloud domains showcase and discussion.

I think there are several cloud threads running concurrently.

Soon, we'll be in a Cat 5 hurricane of clouds.

I haven't been terribly impressed by most of the hype surrounding "the cloud". I've seen wyse terminals before. However, there a few useful applications that can be run centrally from the net that are definitely useful. Panda's cloud antivirus is probably the smartest use I have seen so far. Great method to keep everyones virus defintions up to date all at once and nearly instantly rather than relying on users actually updating their defintions themselves. Another great use is remote backup. However, I still consider "the cloud" to be just another catchphrase, a lot like "multimedia computer" 10 years ago. Wow! multimedia! I have to have one of those!

But more power to those that can flip some names and make money on it for the time being.

Just to piss off Gerry, I regged a few today. Perhaps a local cloud server (.com) might be more useful (and secure) than putting all your crap on the net.

CloudPros.com looks good.

I got some decent ones.

I own CloudComputing.co and CloudTechnology.co. I wonder if a large tech company will want it to prevent "the other guy" from developing it and using it to gain market share in the field. amazon recently got cloud.co for an "undisclosed" amount whatever that means. Cloud computing is still growing very rapidly and some company will want a domain that says it all. will it be my cloudcomputing.co? who knows. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I like CloudComputing.co, I guess its going to depend on how .CO progresses in the coming years. Its still too early to tell.

I have a couple of .CO's myself, just in case

.co seems to be one of the extensions doing well now. CloudComputing is a sick search term these days off the charts.
Funny thing is its just SAAS and a whole bunch of load balancers "The Cloud" Like from a Visio Diagram.

'The Cloud' is just what non-technical people call, what we call 'The Internet'.

Love that line!

Just sold a "cloud" name, and it was a dot net.

Can you tell us the name? Just curious?
It is in escrow as we speak. At present, I do not want to disclose anything in case I do have to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Beyond that, it is a common meteorology term that "could" be applied to cloud computing.

Just caught another domain -

LowCostCloud.com

There may be a slight problem with that one since the Hourly rates for cloud Computing services typically run anywhere from 1.5 cents to 12 cents per hour. Unless a user of that domain would use it to advertise something like building the infrastructure at a low cost. Its a good catch though i must say. I recently hand registered the following

cloudrepairer.com
cloudrepairers.com
cloudfixers.com
cloudfixes.com
cloudfixed.com
remotecloudcomputing.com

I also own cloudcomputing.co and cloudtechnology.co among 50 others in .co
