dumba$$es lol

$0.10 in a day
$3.00 in a month
$36 in a year

1,416 years x $36 = 50,976

1,416 years to recover the invested capital
That would be only if annual fee would be $0

Hey Focus,

What is the current high bid on Sex.cm?

Domain Name / TLD / Status Time Left High Bid My Max Bid My Bid
sex.cm 23m $51,100 $50

Surely all this is based off absolutely nothing....

No-one has really had a chance to test the traffic on these.

That guy selling cars.cm before... how did he own it? I doubt he did... and that was all made up.

All Im saying is, I think these may surprise people, and I get a feeling people are trying to put others off such that they can have a leisurely stroll making money.

Just make your own decisions.

Hotels.cm is $76,100 with 4 minutes left!

Umm, we actually already have 5 names we own...and I was leasing traffic from about 7 others in the past...but thanks for asking!

You obviously have absolutely NO CLUE what you are talking about.. :ok:

I do think hotels.cm is a much better play than sex.cm but still way overpriced imo! Good luck to them all! :ok:

Sex.cm sold for 51.3k

Tut. Should of know. Of course I had no clue. How would I have known that?!

GUA, Rest assured, I was initially interested in this extension however, I think that the traffic will truly be minimal and not worth the investment.

Just my two cents.

Was I correct in reading you cannot change dns until late next year?

JP, it's kind of all up in the air right now...lol

the names WERE working...enom is having some issues so far, as expected.

Traffic was very minimal...one name we pre-ordered was getting like 5 hits a day lol

If it was creditcards.cm thats cool lol

I think they are trying to keep people from seeing traffic on many of the names until the auctions are all over...

I'm in a .cm auction at NameJet and it says

Registration Price: Included

And the bidding is at $170 (started at $60). But I thought there was a $350 registration fee to be added on top?

there is..that's just an oversight on their part..not suprised lol

Truth be known, I did register 1 test domain for the $350.

According to Compete.com, the .com version (a keyword .com) receives 177,996 unique visitors per month.

The traffic on my .cm (parked for about 18 hours) is only a grand total of 3 views.

Save your money people. Spend your money elsewhere. Take a vacation. ;)

So you can change dns.

I was able to park the domain by setting a CNAME to point to Parked.com's server.

And, no I can't currently change the DNS. :sigh2:

I have a ton of pre orders but for the $350 not sure if it is worth taking any of them.
Some are very good keyword domains but again based on this thread and other conversations I don't want to blow $5-$7k for an extra 50 views per day combined.

Are you able not to take them? I thought that if you are the winner with the initial bid you must take the domain, isn't it the case?
