.co sales

Curious if anyone has closed any recent .co sales? When the registration first came available I sold a couple including flying,co but for awhile things slowed down. Then over the last week or so the interest has started booming again. I have sold 8 .co domains totaling over 100k in the last 4 days and have 3 pending sale. I can't release the sale prices because most are confidential but I am a bit shocked that things have picked up so quickly.

Anyone else having luck with the .co extension?

I bought ChicagoRestaurants.co and NewYorkRestaurants.co from private sale.

I think when more public sales show up on the blogs things will pick up.

I have seen some sales too and thought of testing waters by listing two of my .co domains for sale at DNF.

I have sold 5 already and 2 of them were numbers. 3 sales were x,xxx and 2 were just below that range.

I've seen an increase in traffic on my .co (from nothing to a few per day) but no interest and no earnings

I can't imagine anyone buying .co names. They are mostly worthless names. Imagine standing in line at lunch and trying to explain to someone that you owned WorthlessName.co? You would get a funny look, for sure.

that's why you dont buy "worthlessname.co", you buy names like lawyers.co.

Check out this weeks sales report at dnj. More than a few people are imagining buying .co names.

Congrats on finding a greater fool - I'd dump these domains while you still have a chance. They will be worthless in two years, just like .tel, .mobi etc

Imagine standing in line at lunch and trying to explain to someone that you owned WorthlessName.co? You would get a funny look, for sure.

.. and the fact that you pay $30 a year in renewal fees.

That'll definitely clear the registry from low end and worthless names.

Lots of .co auction sales reported in DNJ this week. The next TRAFFIC auction will also feature a lot of .co names.

Maybe people are seeing enough traffic on their .co's and are out buying more? I don't know, but a lot of money is being thrown at them, and most of the sales I've seen are for good or better keywords.

I see speculation activity in the sales but I don't see end users branding themselves as .co. Go figure.
Also, some people are throwing money in .co domains that wouldn't sell if they were .com.

For the most part the .co sales that we have had the user plans on developing. And yes most of the domains sold had excellent keywords. Short, high paying niches. No long stupid ones like WhyThe****AmIBuyingThis.co domains.

I have had some bids just after launch, then it was quiet for a while and now interest is picking up again. Maybe now people are seeing how the domains perform in search engines?
