I just received via snail mail a letter from Nominet UK regarding a .co.uk domain I own. They basicly ask me to go into their site and enter a code that appears in the letter...

Has nyone received such a letter in the past ?
Any other Registries do this check ?

Thanks
Idan

This letter is normal, the code allows you to login to the registrants online section of the nominet website to update whois info. I have recieved this letter for all my .co.uk domain names (after a number on months). You don't need to do anything unless your whois info has changed.

its a bit scary when you come home one day and find 40 of them on your mat,

of course its been months since the names where regged... but its progress, you used to get a certificate (to hang on the wall!) and loads of dead trees telling you stuff you already know!.

i hope the next step is all online...

but i bet .CW TLD will come in before that ;-)

thats a WELSH TLD for cymru.....! see you give them a bit of indepence and they want the world
