Sorry, I am not a big fan of Korean Domains myself. Found the language a bit inpenetrable and the domain space hugely oversubscribed. Doesn't mean they are not valuable though. Max bid on this term is ₩900 ($0.90) with an Overture Score so 18997. Got to be worth low to mid $x,xxx.

I am surprised you need to prompt.

A couple weeks ago and you would have been knee deep in rotten tomatoes by now. I guess the "Dyed in the wool, old school dot com brigade" must all be on a remote desert islands somewhere.

Yeah, something tastes like...um, what is that? Crow? Probably to busy digesting and wondering how they missed out on the .com rush of the millenum.

Very good name vtrader. Do not sell it under mid x.xxx right now.

I can just tell you that the Japan Registry has reserved AirPlane & few other related dot jps so Airline in Korean must be at least high X,XXX if you sell currently & certainly XX,XXX when the market opens wide...

You guys must be crazy with these translations. Since I just register Japanese domains it's easy I looked at a few Chinese & just said forget it I can't go through those translations....

I don't always worry about translations. Get onto a good portal check out the headings for Google/Overture, you can often register some right crackers without even knowing what they mean!

Actually, most of my problem registrations started with dictionaries!

I think korean .com is not useful in Korea.
but, If your 항공.com has traffic It'll be valuable.

Actually, Korea is the one place where there is already very signfiicant use of the domains as Primary URLs. There were about 1 Million registered originally.

I cannot say what levels of traffic these will have at the moment, but when EI 7.00 arrives meaning widespread brower support you can be sure such domains will be in huge demand. As nearly all searches in Korea will be in Korean, only IDN will be able to get you that search engine ranking.

If you are having problems getting your head around the concept of IDN, then more information is available at idnforums.com.

.co.kr is the standarised ccTLD in South Korea (Much like .co.uk is in the UK)

One place where I see IDN's being useful, I know Mr Wrixon bangs on about them all day long but i'm not convinced still (Not a cue for anyone to try to convince me).

I work very closely on a daily basis with Korean people so I will ask them for their opinion on this domain and post their reply here for you.
