.com.tr domain names

A client has requested a .com.tr domain name. But, any sites I've been looking at are quoting $199+ for a years registration. Why are these domains so expensive? Or am I just looking in the wrong places?

But you cannot register any .com.tr domain, it should match corporate name or trademark (documentation required).
