I find this all amusing, I just don't think anyone, say the average joe, would know how to type that in. Hell I think that I am decent with computers and know a little and I do know MAC users can't make that symbol using the method you described. But it is quite a cool domain name.
I probably would have bought it just for the novelty, just in case some computer geek or a hacker was looking for a website to hide that most couldn't or wouldn't know how to type. If you market to them then I could see some value.
