This has been my pet project since I bought it a few months ago - back in mid July to be exact and the site was a literal ghost town. Since then we've picked up almost 200 new members and heading towards 5,000 more posts. The site has several mods installed and is updated to the newest version of IPB.
The IPB is registered through Sept. 26, 2005.
I've only put roughly $75-$100 in advertising (including the current contest) into the site. The site is being indexed very well by many of the search engines including Google and Yahoo. We get several hundred search engine clicks a month and none are paid search engines.
Currently there is no advertising, only the contest going on. I will take $50 off the final price in order to cover the costs for the contest which ends in mid January.
We had a long period of downtime last month and lost 7 days of stats and it came right in the middle of a very active period of at least a signup a day if not more. However, traffic is growing and consistent. The site is a PR 3 on the main page right now. I've provided a screenshot below.

The forum has an active and friendly staff of which I would be willing to assist in the transfer and even stay on as a member. They all work for free and are good guys and gals.
I'm taking offers on the community for a potential sale for the right price. Please keep the offers reasonable. If you have any questions please let me know. I'm a bit sad to sell, but it's for the best because I'm not quite so sure that I'll be able to keep it up in the coming months.
