RADiSTAR said:]Frankly, whoever said a computer store would spend $100k - $250k really needs a reality check. There are no more "mom and pop" shops in the US. It's just big stores like Best Buy, CompUSA etc. Most small players are on the web and sell their items from zero inventory, drop-shipping locations. Investing a quarter of a million in inventory will never happen again.
That's me! :cheeky:
Check any yellow pages for TOWN-Computers. I was just guestimating figures but anyone investing in any shop, which is still king of small business, is looking at $50,000 for 12 months shop rental. Add 10 computers and the latest gadgets for the showroom and there's your $100K.
$10K for an urgent sale reseller
$15K+ if he's willing to wait a month or two for a good offer
$$$,$$$ retail
WHAT other TLDs? Computer.gizmos? CMon Radistar if you can't sell a dozen PCs from Computers.US and make your $10K back then someone must have pulled the plug on the internet.
