Any European citizen (or anyone with an European company) can register/resell an unlimited number of Dot IT domains; if you're outside Europe, there're many companies (like EuroDns, to be used with a coupon to get a low fee) offering permanent local presence and, obviously, you'd be still authorized to resell it with the advantage to safeguard your identity.
