Hi folks,

I am owner of a couple of premium keywords with the ccTLD ".ae" (Unites Arab Emirates, namely Dubai and Abu Dhabi):

- condo.ae
- condos.ae
- flat.ae
- flats.ae
- estates.ae

I bought them year and a half ago before I visited the regional ICANN meeting in Dubai in spring 2008. When I had been there I noticed that in Dubai people really used ".ae" a lot. I saw ".ae" domains everywhere, at billboards, vans and in the papers.

Dubai IS a real estate story. Albeit the crisis hit Dubai like it hit all the world. But as the crisis slowly disappears the boom should continue in Dubai.

Anyone here from that region or with extensive knowledge about their real estate market? I am cleaning my portfolio, consider to sell these domains. Would like get an idea how much these domains could fetch when I approach businesses directly.

Thanks in advance,

Alexander

I think your better off waiting for a dubai domain auction maybe their will be one in the next year or two, The only other thing you can do is contact dubai realestate agents .

Hi, thanks for the answer. But my main concern is the price range: How much shall I ask? How much could they be worth to the real estate agents?

Its really hard to know what end-users will pay for them, but I think if you hold them until the economy is back to normal and the UAE gets back to its booming best, you could get x,xxx for Estates and Condo(s) (I think the word Apartments is used, not Flats??)

Good luck
