Hello,

I have a template in .htm format and to use it properly in fireworks MX 2004 I need it in .png.

Is there any free software that would allow me to do this? Thanks!

You can use a screenshot grabber like snagit and the save as png if you want.

Its not possible to do what you are asking...PSD files are used to save and later edit Photoshop files...

If you already have the HTML I don't see how Photoshop would help you - most of the time people have the .PSD file and need to edit it into HTML

Like mentioned above, you would have to download a program like snagit, open the htm file in IE or firefox (your browser) capture the screen and save as a PSD.

This would do the job, but you would end up with a single layer PSD that you would have to edit, slice, and save back to a webpage.

Of course once in PSD format, it could be exported to PNG, JPG, etc...

Why on earth wouldnt you just create the pictures that are needed in fireworks, and match the colors with the current webpage and just put them where needed, instead of taking the whole webpage into a ss and then slicing, etc....
