Cool thread ... lost!

Hey all.

I came across a great thread on here posted by a gentleman who outlined a buy and sell strategy that went something along these lines:

- Buy long tail, keyword rich, industry specific domain names
- Cold call / cold email businesses and pitch the domain directly to them

It was a long and very informative thread but I cannot find it for the life of me.

Great thread and I should have tagged it!

Anyone know what I am talking about and/or know where that thread is?

Appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction.

There have been a lot of posts like this on these forums. Do you remember anything about it - who posted it, what the subject was, roughly when the post was made etc?

This sounds like a thread that would not be deleted under normal circumstances.

Naw, I wish I did.

I remember:

- It was a loooong post (1000 words plus if I remember correctly)
- Exceptionally informative, open and honest
- Dealt with selling domain names directly to end users (businesses)
- Used examples of $1000 domain names
- Gave examples of shot gunning out 10+ cold emails to potential buyers

Hmm thats about all I can remember for now.
