Dear All,

I wanted to get your advice on the following.

If company A buys a .net version of a domain name , Could they get in trouble with Company B , which owns the .com version.

Things to take into account :

Company B and A are in two completely different industrys.
The domain name in question is not Company B's legal name/trading name..
It is Company A's legal name/trading name.

Company A is buying the domain from the owner , which at the moment uses it for parking only.

Could this cause any problems ?

Also would it be better to go for a different name since the .com is taken , and this company would only have the .net and possible a few other extensions.

I appreciate your thoughts.
