Create an email account for a parked domain

Hi,

I am trying to create an email account for a parked domain that is registered at GoDaddy.

Is it possible to create an email account at GoDaddy without changing the current DNS?

If I recall correctly, the domain must use GoDaddy servers before you can activate their free email associated with that domain.

You can opt to purchase an email account then point your names anywhere.

If you let godaddy handle the dns you can point the a record only to your web server ip address and still use the free email account at godaddy by just not messing with the settings for email
