Sorry to see that the hard working and dedicated mods were cheated. Very sad indeed. Rest assured snoopy, sys, MattyP, that if you decide to start a forum, most of the members here would join you. Not much value then for the "new" owner of dnforum.

In any event, why hasn't Dan responded to ANY of this, when he HAS chosen to comment on DK's public board? Not denying the sale by the way :sad:

If Dan sells the site, it is quite understandable. Money is always good, and everything has a price as they say. In my opinion Dan will have struck a great deal if he sells it for the mentioned price. Dan should also have full credit for bringing this site and community together in the first place. We all owe him a big thank you.

Posting this before knowing all the facts, I may reconsider my statement that everyone should a big Thank You to Dan. After reading about Dan breaking a promise that would allow Snoopy and Matty P buy the site, makes me think about a person's character. I will not say anything further in this matter until we all know for sure what has happened, and until Dan himself comments on this. I don't want to jump to any conclusions.

All I can say that this forum would not be what it is today without the Moderators. They were running the whole site parctically. If you guys ever decide to open up a new forum, count me in. I'll go where the best are. And you have proven to be able to gather the best in this business, as well as creating a functional community where most egos were put aside. Everyone had the same ambitions. That was to learn and share!
