Are you sure? I'm almost certain I've seen both these usernames in the same auction; that'd be like bidding against himself.

"homer" and "bartsimpson" NameJet usernames are owned by Lon Borck of Bookmarks.com and have been cited in numerous NameJet Deadbeat auctions.

NameJet refuses to shut down his accounts which raises the suspicion that he is secretly working for them.

Yes, I'm sure. I've seen a few people use multiple accounts as a backup strategy.

In this particular case, Namejet said the winner used a stolen credit card. So be aware of such issues.

A NameJet user named gridix (already mentioned in this thread) joined the auction for domain name webmasterpoint.com making it going to over US$5,000.

No wonder he didn't pay and now the domain is back in public auction starting at the latest legitimate price.

If you are the winning bidder at auction, NameJet may, at its sole discretion, require you to tender payment for the domain name in the manner of its choosing, including but not limited to credit card, debit account, or wire transfer. You will be considered in default if you fail to pay within seven (7) calendar days from the date that the auction closes. After seven days, your account will be placed in “past due” status and you will be unable to bid for, or place any backorder on, any domain name on the NameJet Platform until you make payment. If you fail to make your payment within fourteen (14) days from the date the auction closes, your account will be closed permanently. Verified Bidders shall have an additional seven (7) days to make payment before their accounts are closed.

Because Namejet restarted the auction with the winner removed. You only know that if you participated in the original auction.
