Have difficulties to sell it even though it has huge number of Google and Overture results plus nice dictionary meaning.

Any thoughts, comments?

Maybe someone called Debbie will want it

$100

Deb = shortened form of girls name (but even then a girl called Deborah would normally be called by the shortened form Debs, rather than Deb) - these go well with .com or org but I am not really sure of it with .biz - in what way is Deb associated with business?
I know you have debutantes and sure there must be some money changing hands with them but I would expect that to also use the shortened form "debs".
IMO this one really only works for a female desperate to own a Deb name or for a business who's initials are D.E.B.

Now if there was a "t" on the end .... sigh :-)

Thanks very much whois-search!

Deb is also a dictionary word means a young woman making her debut into society .

8 million google results. Big number of overture searches (see below).

And yet, noone seems to be seriously interested in it, very wired. I actually did not expect to get $100.

1902 deb.com
10091 deb
3172 deb store
2429 deb shop
2119 deb clothing store
1560 deb clothing

Thanks Mr Webname!

But the correct form of dictionary word is Deb, debs is plural.

Appreciated your thoughts.

Please post more comments.

BTW, "Debs" only has a quarter million results at google (comparing to 8 million for Deb) and far less overture searches.

Correct, Debs is plural - however if you ever read about the debutante occasions you will always hear "Debs" rather than "Deb", similarly the name Deborah will normally be shortened to "Debs" rather than "Deb" (I have a daughter called Deborah).
I think this is one of those occasions where the numbers lie, as might be evidenced from your lack of success in selling it.
If it was mine I am sure that I would be looking for a D.E.B. business rather than a person - something like http://www.deb.co.uk/uk_portal/

Thanks very much Mr webname for your highly valuable suggestion.

But another thought here: perhaps you should buy this name for your daughter :-D.
