I would be very grateful if you all could spare a moment to tell me what you think this domain is worth. I have listed the stats below.

Overture US = 913,078, Google.com ("Debt Consolidation") =4,320,000, Google.com (Debt Consolidation [no quotes]) = 5,090,000.

Overture UK = 95,530, Google UK ("Debt Consolidation") = 933,000, Google UK (Debt Consolidation [no quotes]) = 1,190,000.

Overture DE = 641, Google DE ("Debt Consolidation") =92,800, Google DE (Debt Consolidation [no quotes]) = 106,000

I know its not a dot com but my thinking is that these names could be used by a German company either having presence in or targetting the US and UK which could easily be achieved using subdomains or subdirectories e.g

US.DebtConsolidation.de OR DebtConsolidation.de/US
UK.DebtConsolidation.de OR DebtConsolidation.de/UK

and some actual websites doing this are

uk.lycos.de
basf.de/uk/
uni-kassel.de/uk/
gainward.de/uk/
uk.mobile.de

freefont.de/us/
ahead.de/us/neroue-prog.php
testo.de/US/en/
usembassy.de/usa/
usa.usembassy.de
asf-ev.de/usa/

This would allow them take advantage of the already high OVT type-in traffic. All ideas are very welcome. Thanks.

P.S: I also own DebtManagement.de which has the following stats

Overture US = 1,315,855, Google.com ("Debt Management") =1,440,000, Google.com (Debt Management [no quotes]) = 5,830,000.

Overture UK = 11,750, Google UK ("Debt Management") = 395,000, Google UK (Debt Management [no quotes]) = 1,040,000.

Overture DE = 147, Google DE ("Debt Management") = 30,400, Google DE (Debt Management [no quotes]) = 87,500

they are nice terms for a domain name and recent sales of .de could prove "fruitful" for you, should you decide to sell.

Hallo swingryder,

The keyword "debt consolidation" is good, of course, but the
extension doesn't fit. Germany really is a domain-country,
there are about 8 million .de-domains registered! And
.de-domains are sold for good prices, that's right, biggedon.
But only .de-domains with German keywords. Google (DE) finds
89,600 websites for "Debt Consolidation", but almost all of these
sites are English ones, so you see that the keyword just is not
popular in Germany. And you say, the domain would have a
high OVT type-in traffic. Maybe it has in OVT, but these are
type-ins without extension. I'm very sure the domain has nearly
0 type-ins, because nobody would type in an English term
for a German extension if he doesn't already know the domain!
You also wouldn't type in "haus.us" if you would be looking for
a house to buy in Germany, would you?

I think the domain is worth less than $150 in Germany. But a
domain name's value is exactly what people do pay for it, so
maybe you can sell it to some SEO people in English-speaking
countries for a better price... good luck!

Thanks dodo & biggedon.

Dodo I see your point quite clearly. I was hoping since its got high US ovt and the germans are such great linguists, the .de extension should not be much of a hinderance, after all you only need to look at sedo.de to understand where I'm coming from.
Sedo.de's main landing page provides the user the ability to select from a range of languages or countries best suited to the linguistic preference. This is the sort of thing I thought would apply to debtconsolidation.de, even though its an english term.

OK how about consolidation.tv? (maybe for finance companies advertising debt consolidation products)
