Dealing with End Users on a monthly basis and every year in December my sales die. 0 Sales in December so far, I contact end users myself and average 2-5 sales a month. December due to Christmas shopping end users dont reply back or spend money on domains.

Christmas is a wonderful season to celebrate but the worst season for a Domainer like myself!

I am finding it a decent month so far but it does usually dry up when the holidays appreach.

The one positive is that it's better to monitor drops when everyone is on holidays, you can get decent names.

This year January may be bad as alot of people will be broke from the holidays, hopefully not though.

One report I saw yesterday said many public companies are flush with cash and increasing their dividends. Many businesses cut back hard in the last two years and the economy has been improving in parts of the world. A domain buy in December would also be a tax write-off for a business, wouldn't it?

I've been following up again on old leads from the previous year and made one sale from it, and possibly one more coming.

2011 should be a better year, being online with a good domain is more important than ever.

you receiving offers or targeting end users? Im targeting !

Both....mostly receiving initial inquiries blindly...then setting a price and then targeting others and letting all know that the 1st to act by setting up an escrow gets the name.

For larger sales December is good as buyers seek to offset annual gains with year end investments.

Very good news to hear some of you profiting from the season, I'm referring to my own stats for the last few years and December is a slow month for me. I deal mainly with small businesses.
