Delays in issuing payment checks

Under billing, check was issued on 3/12/09

I was about to declare it lost in the mail, but received it today (hadn't checked my PO box since the 30th). The post stamp says 3/25/09 - almost 2 weeks after the date listed.

Is there any reason for such a delay?

My Adsense check arrives on the last day of the month like clockwork.

No, the delay is caused at Sedo - 2 weeks from issuing of the check until mailing date.
