I originally developed this site to cover the world famous Cape Cod summer baseball league. I launched over a year ago and the site traffic jumps up in the summer.
The official site for that organization is http://CapeCodBaseball.org . The site being offered for sale, http://CapeCodLeague.com needs a little Web 2.0 with blogs, player stats, videos, schedule, scouting reports etc to really make it shine.
Only five uniques a day from type ins now but increases to something like 50 a day in the summer with no SEO. For some reason, it is not in Google.
You also get the domains CapeLeague.com and CapeLeagueBaseball.com with the deal. All domains at Wild West Domains.
I have never been contacted by the Cape Cod Baseball League regarding any trademark violations. However, there MAY be a trademark issue but if you keep it as a fan site I don't think you'll have any problems. Review the sites and make your own determination.
Buyer to host content and release seller from any future trademark liability should it arise. I will send index.html file after payment.
