developed forum suddenly getting mass typo traffic...what would you do?

So I have a forum that has been running for many years. At one time it was pretty active but now is fairly dead. However, I noticed recently its getting a lot of traffic due to a similar named tv show for young girls ( i guess).

Money-wise, it makes sense to just take down the forum and put up a parked page but I find it difficult to just abandon the community, as small as it may be. On top of that I am not sure how much these people will click. What would you do?

I would leave the forum, I doubt a young demographic is looking to buy anything.

Add an interstitial ad or a pop-up.
