2 letter .org -s don`t drop anymore.
If some go to PENDING DELETE, then they will be reserved by PIR

If it dropped, as a 2-letter .org, it will never be available for anyone to re-register sadly.

Yes, that is what I heard too, once trying hopelessly to reg AC.org when it dropped. Oddly even now when you do a whois it shows it has been reg'd but when you go to the whois results it say's not found.

How much do you think 2 letter org's are valued at (assuming they do not contain any bad letters, i.e. z q x y j k?

ROFL! I was trying SO HARD to reg that one when it droped, and it would not let me! The reason I wanted it was that I lived in a town called Apple Creek, Ohio, and that would be the town's initials. But it would also be a good Air Conditioners site name.

But one idea is that maybe if you seach for names that are not quite deleted, and contact the owners to sell them to you, you would have tour 2 letter .org.

And yes it is sad when a name gets researved, but it makes them even more rare, so that the remaining names will be worth even more soon.

But where do you search for them? DeletedDomains.com used to allow you to, but not anymore. And I just tried DeletedDomains.IN, and they require a 3 letter search term to search

I did something like that a year or so ago even the Regs were overwhelemed. I tried to reg a bunch of 2 letter .orgs along with another couple of thousand people :>)

This had been in effect for some time now.

each year 1 or 2 drop of the list.

this makes the active one's more valuable! :)

Only exception with two letter .orgs is if they go through SnapNames partners (like ec.org did recently..)

Is BS.COM still stolen ? Why just a name and no info on some whois searches?

BTW BS.COM oh the possibilities :)
