Not to question your appraisal, you may be right about the reg fee, but can you please explain what other similar names are available? What is similar to Digital Blonde?

Not to question/underestimate value of the domain....but DigiBlonde.com is available (unregged)...;)

ahem... what is DigiBlonde? and how is it comparable? WIth this logic you can find 'similar' domains to any variation. Not arguind, just trying to uderstand your logic.

Anyway, it was just thinking it would be a cool domain for my wife. Something the can use for publishing her makeup artist stuff.

com: it is not valuable to someone. I think most of us could agree on that. However, it sounds like a great name for your wife's plans! And when she has developed it, it might be worth something if she decides to sell.

Thanks, Ice, i agree. I guess i should have explained that i am not asking for a monetary appraisal for just the name but for the idea of building a cool trendy 'digital' website, something funky.

There's nothing confusing about the "blonde" part I hope...!
As far as the pre-fix goes type digi-camera in Google and find out for yourself what "digi" is commonly used for..;)

Google:

Digital Camera: 2,820,000
DigiCam: 330,000
Digi-Camera: 15,700
Digicamera : 7,800

Overture:

Digi -5785
Digital - 36398

Digital Camera - 889251

Digi Camera - 615
Digicam - 1942

Similarity in meaning is not always good. DigiCamera works well as its a common accepted phrase. DigiBonde does not work, just like DigiTV, you can look up the overture on that one if you like.

P.S: I was questioning 'many other similar names are available'. So far you have only one example of similarity and not a good one at that. Where does 'namy' come in?

I do respect all appraisals, but if you are going to post a reason, at least post something real. I dont even ask for reason and take $0 appraisals without any problems. In this case, something like "no business development possibility" or "limited development scope" would have been cool, but if someone posts 'many other similar names are available' i simply have to ask for a few examples, to educate myslef in the matter if for no other reason.
