ok i got a reseller acount right. now i have someone registering and they paid me through paypal. Then i deposited $7 in my account via funds. it didnt show up yet but is that the real way i should be doing it?

Yes, if you set it up to accept paypal, then it should send your customer's funds to the paypal account (yours) that you set up in the configuration, and then directi will deduct the registration fee from your balance with them.
