Well the price for disks.com is too much for me.

I think its worth about $300 - $500.

The hype for this one worder has blown it thru the roof.

I'd have to agree with Chad. Some of the bidding is getting ridiculous, just because the name is a "drop". If the action was real, we should see similar kinds of bids on eBay or other places for these kinds of names (or at the DNForum weekly auctions).

It'll be interesting to see what happens if some of these people catch names that are bid at $16,000+, and have to come up with the money....

disks zero traffic but millions of hits on google

more hits than discs..way more.

Seems a case with a combination of factors working in it's favor

-people getting acustomed to calling many things disks.- floppies,

hard disks, records, cd, dvd, videos, mispels foreign languagess etc.

a portal in the making..

in other words disks has become a default keyword.
