Probably not "free" plugs, it's probably written into the contract like you are getting paid X dollars for your voice and by the way, don't you have a television show you can plug it on every week or month how excited you are about the production until release date? That's why you're getting X dollars.

Now, if Disney is going to open up all Star Wars projects to outside vendors rather than keep it in-house, I can only imagine all future licensing breeches, lawsuits, and URDP's when an "outsider" gets wind of the upcoming projects and regs a name before its release.
