This is as ZERO as it gets. Not in the mood to be harsh right now, and I see you are new to the forum, so I will suggest just not registering any .co names from now until the end of your domaining career. One of the main problems is that the lowlife registries are in cahoots with many people, including those at Sedo, Go-Daddy, some who run forums, blogs, etc. The name of the game is to take your money and send your ass to bankruptcy court, while they laugh all the way to the bank.
The .co extension is horrific and worthless for many reasons. Pumpers and scammers usually jump in when I say that, but the truth is that the world would be a much better place, and new and old domainers alike would be much better off as a whole, if none of these fraudulent exensions existed.
Feel free to spin your wheels and come up with names like this if you wish, but you are heading into a brick wall. Stick to dotcom until you have made a ton of money......then stick with dotcom after that. Somebody needs to put a stop to this. You probably got this idea from one of the numerous pumpers who float around places like this trying to convince people like you to buy their scummy names.

.CO is a ccTLD and not a fraudulent extension. There is money to be made in alomst all extensions, not only in .com. In many countries they people prefer to type their ccTLD extention, rather than .com !
I really appreciate your input. Even if it was hard to hear. I knew not long after my purchase that I probably shouldn't have bought many of the names I got on opening day (I'll call it a lesson learned and think about it a bit more next time).
My initial thought for this domain was to market towards dispensary owners or some medical marijuana entrepreneurs in Colorado, where there are currently more than 150 dispensaries.

I am telling you that you are better off deleting all of your .co's that you can't sell quickly. It just is not the way to go if you want to get ahead in the game. Thanks for being a good sport. Just because there is money to be made in it if you can find a bigger sucker does not mean it is worthwhile to spend your time there.
The odds are essentially zero that anyone new to the game who starts out buying .co's will have a fullfilling experience. The foundation rests in dotcom. If you don't know why dotcom is so strong, and the historical significance of what .com represents, then of course you can fall into the trap of looking at names in various extensions when you are just starting out and think: "Why not"?
To give you an idea of the strength of dotcom compared to these pitiful new entensions, think of it in terms of this: Is is possible for the next great company to come out of some small community college somewhere? The answer is YES, it is possible, but the odds strongly favor schools like Stanford and Harvard. That is where the power resides. And since everyone has the choice to go into dotcom it is a no-brainer. Of course, if you think that you would rather network at small community colleges then that is your choice, but the way it works out is that you will get left in the dust.
Do you think that those attending low-ranking schools in the United States really have a decent chance to be President of the United States? I mean, all you have to be is a United States Citizen. There is a reason that those who become President come from the elite schools. Obama is from Harvard. Even George Bush went to Yale. Clinton went to Oxford. The point is that if you want to give yourself the best shot in life you go to the best schools, and if you want to give yourself the best shot in domains you need to stick with dotcom. The only exceptions I would make with domain names is if someone has already shown that they can make a ton of money on dotcoms.....then it would be fine to dabble elsewhere if they wish.....but you need to build a strong foundation and that basically starts with understanding the history of domain names in general, and dotcom in particular.
Feel free to listen to others who will tell you that these new extensions, that by definition cannot ever reach a mass audience because the names are owned by speculators and not end-users, are worthwile. Why do you think the .co registry went out of their way to let everyone know about their little deal with Overstock.com? The whole thing was part of their marketing ploy to get people like yourself to fall into the trap of buying their worthless names.
I bust scammers left and right and almost every time I bust these people up and expose their fraud it is in these dumb extensions like .co, .mobi, .eu, etc. These extensions always head to the graveyard, where they belong. The only problem is that none of the blogs, forums, or anyone with a voice ever exposes the fraudulent fake sales and shill bids that they know happened. Everyone uses those phoney sales to pump up similar names and those who do so should be shunned by everyone in the industry. One scam and you are OUT. But it doesn't work that way. The easiest thing in the world to do is to sell your best friend a worthless name in a horseshit extension and then do an Escrow transaction so you can get it published in Dn Journal. Then you go to work pumping similar horseshit names on the forums, while huffing and puffing about similar sales that were published at Dn Journal. Why does that only seem to happen in lame extensions and not dotcom?
The game is treacherous and there is nobody looking out for you. That is all you need to know.

I make most of my money from ccTLDs and not .com. There are plenty of domainers which make most of their revenue from ccTLDS and not .com. Of course .com is worldwide the strongest, but too many people in this market already, so it is very difficult to get a foot in the door. You have to be open sometimes to new things a new ideas, otherwise you would be sending eltters and not email, or not post on this forum, but post in your local newpaper.

You are really bitter at anything marijuana related I've noticed.. Have a personal vendetta or something?
I think input like this is better left for a general discussion for .co and other extensions as these are your views on a BROAD range, not targeted just for this person's review. People seeking advice on other topics such as .co extensions can do so in other sections, as this is an appraisal thread. Nit pit the name, not the history of the extension and your personal experience with it over time - just sayin'
SPLO - PLENTY of opportunity for this name my friend.. Hold on to this and watch and see. I live in Maine and we have had a medical marijuana law in place since 1999, but no way for qualified patients to get their medicine. That is until November of 2009. The state allowed there to be eight dispensaries throughout the state. Each one is placed to get as many people as possible connected, and easy access to the dispensary.
Check this out buddy - YESTERDAY High Times posted an article on their website talking about New Jersey and their current medical marijuana laws. They are just now finally allowing dispensaries into the plan. Each state is going to follow the California model simply because of the sheer potential! California dispensaries (JUST dispensaries, not all medical marijuana groups) alone last year donated over $10,000,000 to the state of California. They did big renovations for their neighbor's and the surrounding buildings to better the overall appearance of the community. This includes fixing up buildings, helping with paint, and even paid to have landscaping done out front of businesses surrounding them.. Positive thinking creates positive ideas, and with positive ideas comes possibilities. When these possibilities are given a chance they have a positive outcome. With a positive outcome comes success, and success - is positive thinking
