Major festival currently in progress in India.

Did any of you dot In or co.uk followers get this one?

The festival generates enough interest around the world that the search for diwali greetings was the 2nd of the top 10 gaining Google queries for the week ending October 27, 2003

Best Regards
Dave Wrixon

Happy Diwali!

One of my customers invites us to their luncheon each year and it's usually a lot of fun and great food!!

Happy Diwali,

May the new year bring much peace and prosperity to all.

Cheers

Best wishes to all. In Malaysia, I think the Indian community call this 'Deepavali' - is that the same thing?

Happy diwali...bring out the alcoholic beverages..

Dale,
This answers your question :

Even though I was born and raised a Catholic, Diwali, one among many Hindu festivals is celebrated with equal vigor by all faiths. It is such a fun festival. Just like Halloween, kids are the best beneficiary of its enjoyment.

That's it -- I half knew it had to be the same thing. Happy Deepavali all!
