O.K sold this domain on sedo for 4200 euros to somebody (in Germany where sedo originate),been paid for it but i find it strange it's still their name and i was wondering do they purchase domains themselves ?

I would guess yes... but thats just a guess :yo:

I will let you know in a week if it gets changed or not, well if they do i can point you in the right way to get the most from them ;-)

I have sold a 5-figures name through SEDO few months ago and the name is still in their account. I know who the buyer is, it's weird the name wasn't transferred yet.

Nice sale, kinda strange and you now who the buyer is as well, mind you i will say one thing i just bought a domain from sedo and they dropped into my account but all the whois info was still in their name until they told me about it,i wonder if thats what happens, people buy the domain and forget to change the whois info ?

Sedo owns a domain investment company called DomCollect AG. So yes, they do purchase domains themselves. However, it also often happens for different reasons that domains show Sedo's address details in the whois, although the domain was bought by another company or person.
