do/would people send in photos?

If I had a domain name like YourFavoriteSocks.whatever and had a website up there, do you think that people would actually take photographs of their socks and e-mail them to me, with a description of why they like them?

Note: I do not care about much about socks, this is just an example. Also, I do not intend to make a pornographic website or one about pets. I am pretty sure that people do send those types of photos to various websites.

Yes, but people are lazy, so emailing would be too much work.

Get something to make it super easy, simple and quick to submit photos.

something with automated submission and allows other users to give feedback, such as instead of making a gallery on dogs, make a rate my dog site where users submit their dogs and site visitors go through rating the cuteness or feirceness of a dog

People will submit anything... esp. if you make it easy for them.
