There are lots of domain I regret letting go for too cheap.

Lots of domains I wish I sold when I had the chance. 🤦🏽‍♂️

What about you? Do you have any domain regret?

How do you deal with it?

I have at once, it was single word .tv I and the buyer agreed on a higher price but the buyer backed out.

I reduced the price to half fearing he might run away and he bought it 😄

Ha-LOL. I wish I had married the beautiful blond I dated in college. Life is full of regrets. However, I ended up marrying a beautiful Red-Head later on in life and bought her a very nice home, which is now our home domain! So, get over it and buy more domains, my friend! Ha!

Great end to the story!

And I like redheads.

Yes, similar to the experience of others, I also missed some great opportunities earlier to buy some quality domains when I got the chance, the thing is I wasn't so sure about them at that specific moment but later I discovered that had a bunch of potentials for achieving good organic rankings and attracting more traffic to the site. Guess we all at some point fall under this tramp of not recognizing all chances at the right time and then someone else takes those chances instead of us, but now that I know this, I will be more careful about my decisions in the future.

Hi

anyone who has been domaining for a while, will have some regrets
or some "shoulda- woulda-coulda's" that they ponder about, after the fact.

things like wishing you hadn't sold a name for that amount
or wishing you had sold that domain when the money was on the table.

even letting some names expire, where in retrospect, you feel you should have renewed them.
or regretting that you didn't "get in the game" earlier in life, which may have put you in better position today.

but if you want to succeed, then you just have to let all that go, suck it up, and move on.

imo...

Likewise as @Biggie said - we all have some regret or another. For me the biggest regret was to not price my names to sell in my initial few years.

Anyhow, I think the most important thing is to learn from your mistakes and keep upgrading your domaining skills. Be it the ability to pick names, valuate them or to manage your portfolio more efficiently.
