I noticed there are quite a few .pro domains being registered and there is much more activity since the reg fees reduced than before.

Have you noticed this?

I've spent a week trying to get Encirca to update my WHOIS registrant details. I forwarded them an email confirm from RegistryPro saying my AV details have been submitted and Encirca should update my WHOIS records and still no response from Tom Barrett. My advice to anybody considering registering .pro domains is to register with DomainPeople for $19.99. Encirca are deliberately dragging their feet over WHOIS updates to force ProForwarding customers to pay inflated $75 renewals. Is anybody else having this problem?

Yes, I think so. But it may become a bit more popular in near future.
