.online is registered a lot. End users rarely pay up for it the way they do for .com.
The controversy is mostly trust: the extension shows up often on thin or spammy sites, so a buyer may read docuforge.online as a throwaway even if the word is fine.
I’d still check past use of the string and whether DocuForge sits on a live product or mark.
A new .online doesn’t erase that.
