does linking my website help with traffic

can anyone help? I have linked my parked sites to all the major search enginge(google, yahoo and msn). Does anyone know of any other links that would be helpful. And other methods of gettin my website traffic for no cost to me?

Generally parking companies like type in traffic.
They do not want you to promote your sites.

if you like to do link building etc, you need to develop your sites.

As per parking rules you are not supposed to get traffic with any kind of promotion.

Traffic has to come with existing back links or type in (you need to have good names)
Typo's etc.

If you have domains that are not getting type in traffic

your best option is to develop and promote them.
