Does Moniker really allow a domain name return within 4 days after reg?

I had heard that Moniker will take names back (less a 25 cent ICANN fee) if requested within 4 days of reg. Is this true? I was just at Moniker going through their TOS and did not see this written anywhere.

Hi JDK,

Can you please explain that more?...Is there a link to a page on Moniker where I can read the policy? What do you mean by $1 or 25 cents? Does it depend on a what level of prepay you sign up for... I, II, III, IV, etc?

I am thinking of buying a prepaid account at Moniker...are you an affiliate there...I can buy through your link.

Also, I really like the DRT! How do I take you up on the free promotional name regs?

It's worth doing this for dropped, expired domain acquisitions only. Most domainers return domains, which does not get traffic and keep the rest.

Buying new domains are not worth the risk returning it for the fee. They almost always never get traffic, type in or otherwise...

TomCatt99 - yes we offer domain tasting/testing for our premium clients and members of the forum. You can get all set up by contacting [email protected] and mention you are a dnforum member. Your pricing will be set and you will see this functionality inside your account with explanation of the policy.

Moniker.com will be allowing .org and .info names to be deleted within 4 days of registration starting on Thursday. If you want special delete pricing, just email me your moniker account number and I will get you set up.

So how much is this extra fee to get rid of the domain or get it refunded?
